The vaccination rate in low-income countries is still < 20% at the end of April 2022. And that is similar to the vaccination rate of the high-income countries in March 2021. The separation of four income groups is clear from the first quarter of 2021 and continues to be separated.

At the same time, a recent report states that the U.S. has wasted over 82 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, which is just above 11% of what the federal government distributed, mainly because the demand has waned.
