Eastern Europe and Central Asia Have the Higest Death Rate by Cardiovascular Disease

Based on the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) cardiovascular burden estimates between 1990 and 2021, the estimated death rates caused by cardiovascular disease are the highest in Eastern Europe, followed by Central Asia. While the estimated death rate in Eastern Europe was close to 0.04, the one for Western Europe was only 0.006.
More resources and supplies are required in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Central Europe, East Asia, and Noth Africa and Middle East to lower the death rate caused by cardiovascular disease.
Western Europe has the lowest death rate of 0.006 followed by High-income Asia Pacific and South Asia.
